There was a period nearly 20 years ago when times were tough. Airlines stopped flying, people stopped working, and the media spouted doom and gloom on cable TV for 24 hours a day. This is a video of a December 22, 2018 backpacking trip to Rocky Mountain in North Georgia. The National Forest Service sells logging rights to timber companies. It's reality, but I'm seeing it more and more in North Georgia and Northwestern South Carolina lately.
