End of an era! The old Rock Gap shelter near Franklin North Carolina is no more. Scott, a.k.a. Brownie was nearly taken out here by a falling tree limb after 12 inches of snow hammered us in a major storm in 2010. Great memories. Shelter was a savior that night.
