Fishing At Rogerson’s Lodge On Smoky Lake

Here’s a brief recap of a trip to Rogerson’s at Smoky Lake  in honor of Roy Melick who logged nearly 20 years of fishing trips to Canada with my family.  Thanks for the wonderful memories.  You were great company!

  1. Mark says:

Is this the same Rogerson’s near Port Loring Ontario that would do the flyouts?

  2. BirdShooter says:

It’s been a long time, but I believe you are right about that.

  3. Amy Rogerson berardi says:

Is there or was there an actual Rogerson’s Lodge? My father seems to remember his family talking about one when he was a child.

  4. Dan Rupp says:

Yes there was, we went many years ago. I believe they sold out and is now called Tornado lodge. I will never forget the pilot a young 70 year old man that flew the Beaver plane. His name was Sterling. Darrel was the son of the owner. What fun we had.
