Rogerson’s Air – Landing @ Smoky Lake

In the 80’s and early 90’s, my father and I flew in to Smoky Lake in Northern Ontario on numerous occasions as an alternative to a cottage that we owned further west. At the time, there was no access to the remote Smoky Lake Lodge other than via sea plane. Here’s a video of the Rogerson’s Air plane landing on the morning of September 12, 1991. It was a beautiful and very calm morning – and now you can see why they call it Smoky Lake…
