English Landing Park is a beautiful 68-acre riverfront park located in Parkville, Missouri, along the Missouri River. It is a popular spot for walking, jogging, biking, fishing, and picnicking, offering scenic views and recreational amenities. A three-mile walking and biking trail that loops through the park, providing great views of the Missouri River. The park is pet-friendly, making it a great place for dog owners to walk their pets.
This easy loop hike at English Landing Park follows the banks of the Missouri River on a paved hiking/running trail that loops either one or two miles through the park. (You have the option of cutting the loop in half if you want). It passes baseball, soccer, and playground fields that are frequently used by the residents of Parkville, MO. The Parkville Nature Sanctuary is located nearby and behind the Parkville City Hall which offers 115 acres of woods and wetlands, a waterfall, a beaver colony, and a little glimpse of Parkville history. Educational programs are available at the sanctuary throughout the year.
