The walking trail loops around the ball fields and is on a gravel path that is in the shade much of the time. It is a fairly easy trail that is used frequently by those that live in the area.

There are actually backcountry campsites here that were built by the Boy Scouts. A picnic pavilion, fire ring, and and tent sites are situated near a stream in the back section of the park and the trail passes right by them.
