South Crocker Mountain, “No rain, no pain, no Maine”

There’s an old A.T. thru-hiker saying “No rain, no pain, no Maine”. Well today, there was plenty of both rain and pain. We hiked from ME 27 southbound on the Appalachian Trail and after the monsoon on North Crocker Mountain (4,168 feet), made our way to South Crocker Mountain ( 4,029 ft).
