The Section Two Put-In At South Carolina Highway 28
Spent last weekend kayaking section two of the Chattooga River which runs from Highway 28 and to Earl’s Ford near Westminster, South Carolina. The river in this section has a few class two rapids and a single class three rapid at Big Shoals. In this video, we sit on an island near Turn Hole and watch a bunch of canoeists attempt the rapids with a 100% success rate. I wonder how they did at Big Shoals?
