Highlights:

This short hike in Roswell, Georgia starts at the parking area at the Roswell Historic Mill and crosses a bridge over Vickery Creek (also known as Big Creek). The path then descends to the stream, then follows it briefly before looping back to the Milll area where there are restrooms and some bench seating.

On our hike, we then followed the creek upstream to the dam and explored some of the mill ruins on the west side of Vickery Creek. These ruins date to the 1850’s and combined with the bridge and dam make for an interesting hike. For an added bonus – hit Moxie Burger on the way out and grab a brew and burger. This area is busy on weekends, so be prepared to share the trail with many other people – including photographers who shoot a lot of family pictures near the bridge.
