Highlights:

Paradise Island is an island in The Bahamas formerly known as Hog Island. The island is 1.1 square miles and is located just off the shore of the city of Nassau, which is located on the northern edge of the island of New Providence. It is best known for the sprawling resort of Atlantis which has a water park, pools, beach, restaurants, walk-in aquarium and casinos.

This hike to Cabbage Beach starts where the boat ferry accesses Paradise Island at the base of the bridge. From here we did a loop hike using a combination of Cabbage Beach and the paved sidewalk between the ferry and the Paradise Island Beach Club. This route even passes near a swamp between Cabbage Beach and Paradise Island Drive. Access to the beach from the Paradise Island Beach Club is blocked on weekends, so make sure to do this loop during the weekday or you will have to backtrack.
