After 13 1/2 years together, Boone Dawg passed away in October 2024. He took his first hike as a puppy near Charlotte, North Carolina and from that day on never missed an opportunity to get out on the trail. Arthritis and age finally caught up with him, so we scattered his ashes in the backcountry and he is now enjoying his next big adventure.
